Sardar Singh Kalra ji came to India during the time of Partition, with courage in his heart and a deep passion for authentic Indian food. Starting from scratch in a new land wasn’t easy but his skill and determination never let him stop.
In 1955, along with his son Manmohan Singh Kalra ji, he started what we today know as Kalra Sweets. It began with simple, freshly made snacks served with honesty, warmth, and unmatched flavour. What made it special wasn’t just the food, but the feeling it left behind.
As years passed, more sweets and flavours were added, and the name grew but the values stayed the same. Quality was never compromised, and every recipe was treated like a legacy to be protected.
